What is Naci?

Translated from Spanish Naci means “to be born.”

Through daily practices and knowledge, we can be reborn again and again and grow through the experiences that restrict us from our potential. We can heal, one step at a time, being reborn into the next version of ourselves.

Where we begin, doesn’t have to be where our story ends.

About Me

.

Hello! Hola! I’m Jessica

I started my journey into bodywork in an unexpected way. I was standing behind the front desk at a massage therapy school in Saskatoon, I was the administrative assistant. One day, I overheard a student glowing with pride as she described the transformation her client had experienced. That moment stayed with me, I was inspired by her. I knew I wanted to be part of that kind of change. So I enrolled in massage therapy to become a therapist.

For nine years, I worked with people experiencing chronic pain, dealing with PTSD, injuries from bike/car accidents, heredity disorders, and teh fallout from injuries that didnt heal well, or illnessness that left people with functional deficits. I saw firsthand how touch, presence, and care could ease discomfort and offer hope. But over time, I began to notice a missing piece—something I wasn’t allowed to speak to in my practice. The emotional layers of pain. The beliefs people carried. The way their bodies held stories of fear, perfectionism, and protection. Massage alone couldn’t reach the root.

And so, Naci Wellness was born, a space where body and mind are invited into the same conversation.

My own healing hasn’t come from chronic pain, but from something equally profound: disconnection. For a long time, it felt like swimming upstream in a freezing river—numb, stuck, and unsure of where the current was taking me. Stillness didn’t bring peace; it brought discomfort. But when I started letting my body move—even just a small sway during meditation—something shifted. Curiosity opened a door. Dance gave me permission to flail, to explore, to play. I didn’t have to be perfect. I just had to show up.

That’s what I want for you, too.

The people I work with are often caregivers, doers, and survivors. They’re strong, but stretched thin—emotionally, physically, and spiritually. They’ve spent so long making sure everyone else is okay, they’ve forgotten what it feels like to check in with themselves.

I love the moment when their eyes soften, their breath deepens, and they realize, “I’m allowed to feel good in my body again.” That’s where healing begins.

I believe pain is not something to fear; it’s a message. A signal from your body asking for care, attention, and change. And when we learn to listen (gently, curiously, without judgment) we begin to rewrite the story.

To me, healing is like water. It flows in unexpected ways, finds new paths, and softens even the sharpest edges over time. It’s slow, but powerful. And you don’t have to do it alone.

On a good day, you’ll find me meditating, walking barefoot along the beach, dancing in my kitchen, or getting lost in a good fantasy novel.

My guiding belief?

I believe every hard moment carries a lesson. That pain is not the end of the story, just the part where you discover how strong you really are.

If you're ready to reconnect with your body and build a relationship based on safety, curiosity, and trust… welcome. You're in the right place.
